Privacy Policy for the LeadForge Chrome extension. Last updated 24 July 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how LeadForge (“the Extension,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the LeadForge Chrome extension. LeadForge helps you find local business leads on Google Maps, audit websites you choose, and prepare outreach materials from a browser side panel.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to users of the LeadForge Chrome extension. LeadForge is intended for business and professional use.

2. Information we handle

LeadForge processes information on your device to provide its features. This may include:

Personally identifiable information

Business or contact details you scrape or save from Google Maps and related sources, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses.

Location information

Business addresses and location-related details associated with Google Maps listings you scrape or save.

Website content

  • Content from Google Maps result pages you choose to scrape.
  • Content from websites you choose to audit (for example page text/HTML signals used for SEO, CRO, CMS/stack, and performance insights).
  • Optional screenshots you capture for pitch packs or audits.

Workspace data you create

Outreach status, campaign lists, pins, notes/pitch-pack content generated on your device, and optional CRM deep-link settings you enter (such as a HubSpot portal ID or GoHighLevel location URL).

LeadForge does not intentionally collect health information, financial/payment account details, authentication credentials, personal communications (such as the contents of your email inbox), web browsing history as a tracking product, or analytics about how you click around the Extension.

3. How information is used

We use the information above solely to provide LeadForge’s core features, including:

  • scraping and saving leads you choose to capture from Google Maps;
  • auditing websites you choose to analyze;
  • generating pitch materials (such as talking points, email drafts, client decks, or CRM deep links);
  • exporting CSV files you request;
  • remembering your library and settings on your browser profile.

We do not sell your data.

We do not use your data for advertising.

We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to LeadForge’s single purpose: helping you find local business leads and prepare website pitch materials.

4. Where information is stored

LeadForge stores the information described above locally on your computer/browser profile using Chrome extension storage.

LeadForge does not operate a LeadForge backend that receives, hosts, or syncs your leads, audits, screenshots, or CRM settings.

If you export a CSV, open an email draft, open a CRM tab, or download a client deck, that action happens on your device through your browser or other tools you choose. Those third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Network requests

To provide its features, LeadForge may:

  • interact with Google Maps pages you have open when you start a scrape;
  • fetch websites you choose to audit;
  • open new tabs for actions you initiate (for example email, CRM, or a client deck).

These requests are made so the Extension can do what you asked it to do. They are not used to upload your lead library to LeadForge servers.

6. Permissions

LeadForge requests browser permissions only as needed for its features, including:

  • sidePanel — to show the LeadForge interface beside your browser;
  • storage — to save your library and settings locally;
  • tabs / activeTab / scripting / host access — to work with Google Maps and websites you choose to scrape, audit, or capture screenshots from.

LeadForge only performs scrape, audit, and capture actions when you start them from the Extension.

7. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information.

Information leaves your device only when you choose to share or move it yourself, for example by:

  • exporting a CSV;
  • opening a mailto/email draft;
  • opening HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or another site;
  • downloading or printing a client deck;
  • using another tool on your computer with files you exported.

8. Your choices and controls

You can:

  • remove individual leads or audits inside LeadForge;
  • clear library data from Settings;
  • clear campaign lists;
  • uninstall the Extension, which removes LeadForge’s locally stored data for that Chrome profile (subject to normal browser behavior).

9. Children’s privacy

LeadForge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International users

Because LeadForge stores data locally in your browser, information remains on your device/profile unless you export or transmit it yourself.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of LeadForge after an update means you accept the revised policy.
